The Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting team responsible for supporting the financial close process, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and preparing accurate financial reports in accordance with US GAAP. This role works closely with the Assistant Controller and contributes to reconciliations, reporting, audits, and cross-functional accounting support in a multi-entity environment. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines.Compensation:
Starting at: $60,000 based on experience

- Prepare and post journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts
- Assist with inventory, equipment, and loan-related accounting support
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting
- Provide backup support for AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Multi-entity or multi-location experience preferred
- Experience in dealership, construction, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries is an advantage
- ERP systems experience (SAP, CDK, eEmphasis, Procede, or similar) is a plus
- CPA, CMA, or CGMA preferred (active or in progress)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High professionalism and ethical standards
